KCNA, the state media outlet for Pyongyang said that the heated exchange with President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un is continuing and Jong-un is presenting an attack that has been described as being elaborate, by the middle of August.
This plan is said to include the launch of four Hwasong 12 rockets that are going to cross over the sky of the Koichi Prefectures of Japan, Hiroshima and Shimane, said General Kim Rak Gyom.
NORTH KOREA TO HAVE GUAM STRIKE PLAN BY MID-AUGUST
The missiles are said to be flying around 2, 085.8 miles and last for around 1, 065 seconds, and they should almost make it to the shore of Guam and land in the water around 30 to 40 kilometers away.
Pyongyang has ridiculed the promise of Trump to counter threats from North Korea with what he called “fire and fury.”
The remark was called a lot of nonsense and in turn vowed to act with a force that was absolute.
The remark from Trump came with controversy, and it prompted Rex Tillerson, the Secretary of State, to give assurance to the people of the US that there was no immediate danger from North Korea.
James Mattis, the Defense Secretary of State, said that Washington is very sure in their military pre-eminence and urged North Korea not to take action that might lead to the end of the regime along with the destruction of its people.
NATIONAL SECURITY AIDE OF TRUMP CALLS FOR BACKING OF US LAWMAKERS
Sebastian Gorka, the national security aide of Trump, had made a comparison of the escalation between North Korea and the US to the 1962 Cuban crisis.
He called on the lawmakers in the US to back the stance of President Donald Trump during the crisis that was unfolding.
Gorka said in an interview that he recalled that while the Cuban missile crisis was taking place, the people had stood behind JFK. Gorka also gave warning about self-isolating the nation against testing out the USA.
He went on to say that the US was not only a superpower but also a hyper power and he played down the dangers that had been posed by North Korea, saying that it was an insignificant threat in terms of scale.
Senator John McCain had cast some doubts that the leader in the US would back up his comments with actions that were real.
Others were more enthusiastic and they estimated the chances of the US if it came to a military confrontation face-to-face.
Tom McInerney, a retired general, said that the US would come out on top and they had the ability to be able to level North Korea in only 15 minutes if they were to launch an attack on South Korea.
He went on to say that should Trump get full nuclear retaliatory capability in just minutes after going a round in Seoul; then there would be very little left.
